Office Policies

Dr. Mehta makes every effort to offer appointments that are convenient to you and your family. Wellspring Pediatric Dentistry in Katy values your child’s education. We offer after school, evening and Saturday appointments so that your child can stay in school as long as possible.

We recommend that younger children and patients with special needs are scheduled in the mornings when they are most rested and at their best. This allows us to spend more focused time with you and your child to ensure a positive visit.

We do request that you notify our office at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment time if you need to reschedule.

We allow one parent to stay with their child throughout the dental appointment. We encourage parents to listen to recommendations Dr. Mehta discusses with your child and help your child follow up on these tips at home. We ask that you allow your child to build a trusting relationship with the Pediatric Dentist and team to have confidence and independence at future appointments.

Dental Insurances & Finances:

At Wellspring Pediatric Dentistry, we are in-network with most PPO dental insurances. Our office will help file claims for primary insurances for both in-network and out-of-network patients. However, we strongly advise you to be familiar with your insurance plans/benefits. Please keep in mind that no insurance pays for 100% of all procedures. Most plans cover a percentage of the average total fee (some plans pay more, some plans pay less). You will be responsible for portions of the fees that are not covered by your insurance. Also note that deductibles/co-payments may apply with your insurance plan. We understand that navigating through dental insurance benefits can be confusing and our staff are here to assist you with any questions you may have.

We accept most major credit cards, debit cards, personal checks, Care Credit, and cash payment methods.
